My second book, written in collaboration with Pat Thomson, is out now! Why garden in schools? explores the history of school gardening, before unpacking two different school gardens. We examine why schools start gardens, how they survive, and the ways they are thought about.
In February 2018 I published my first book: Schools and Food Education in the 21st Century. It is published by Routledge.
The book takes you on a journey through the school day. It is divided into three parts: Before School, The School Day, and After School. It considers food experiences in different primary schools in England.
