Reading List (5/9)

Hello September. It has been feeling very autumnal in the mornings for the last few days. But then Sunday was totally glorious so who knows really? I am in Italy this week, attending ECER in Bolzano, hence the late reading list. We traveled all day on Tuesday. I am loving the mix of German and Italian cultures, the serious mountains, the green landscape. Oh and I am attending some sessions too!

Ethnographic truths.

These cinnamon rolls look delicious, and perfect for cooler mornings.

Ideas for getting through a Monday morning.

On the benefits of dogs. Also volunteering is good for mental health.

On frocks.

Helping migrant farm workers children through school.

Some wonderful words on cats.

Wise words on cooking from Smitten Kitchen.

Loved this story of mid-western supper clubs.

I know I am late to the game but I read My Brilliant Friend with eager abandon. I loved the story of two friends growing up in Naples, and the undercurrents of violence, poverty, and justice that run through the book are fascinating. I have now started book two.

Have a good week. x
